About MBRC the ocean
This project operates a global network of more than 250 cleanup hubs that, together with over 10,000 volunteers and partners, remove plastic waste from coastal areas, cities, and waterways. It also provides sustainability education in schools and communities. The collected plastic is then recycled and reintroduced into the circular economy as a valuable raw material.
